What are plantation shutters?

Plantation shutters — also called window shutters or shutter blinds — are solid interior shutters with adjustable horizontal louvres, fitted to a frame that’s made to your window’s exact measurements.

Tilt the louvres and you control light and privacy independently — something no curtain or roller blind can do. They insulate better than blinds, never need washing or re-hanging, wipe clean in seconds, and they’re one of the few window dressings that add value to a home.
