These Terms and Conditions govern all orders placed with Shutters365 Ltd, whether through our website or otherwise. Please read carefully before placing an order.
1.1 These are the terms on which we supply made-to-measure shutters and related goods to you.
1.2 By placing an order with us, you agree to be bound by these terms.
1.3 You are a consumer if you are buying products wholly or mainly for personal use, not for resale or business purposes.
1.4 Business customers: These terms constitute the entire agreement between us. You acknowledge that you have not relied on any statement or promise not expressly included here.

2.2 You can contact us by email at info@shutters365.co.uk. We do not provide telephone or in-person support.
2.3 When we refer to “writing” in these terms, this includes email.
3.1 An order becomes binding when we send you an order confirmation by email.
3.2 If we cannot accept your order (e.g. out of stock, error in pricing, or technical issue), we will notify you and not charge you.
3.3 Orders are subject to confirmation of measurements. We rely on the measurements you provide. We are not responsible for errors in measurements supplied by you.
3.4 Once production has begun, orders cannot be changed or cancelled (see Section 8).
4.1 All shutters are made-to-measure. Images and samples are illustrative only. Colours and finishes may vary slightly due to natural materials, lighting conditions, and screen settings.
4.2 Our products are handmade and subject to manufacturing tolerances in line with supplier standards. Width tolerances may vary between ±1mm and ±3mm depending on panel quantity, and height tolerances are typically ±1.5mm.
4.3 Material-specific use:
Wood shutters (Paulownia and Basswood) are for indoor, non-humid environments.
PVC shutters are suitable for bathrooms, kitchens, and other areas exposed to moisture.
4.4 Sizes, weights, and dimensions vary. Shutters weigh between 10kg and 16kg per m², depending on material. Please ensure safe handling on delivery.
4.5 Samples are available and recommended before ordering if exact colour/finish matching is required.
If you wish to make a change to your order, please email us immediately. If production has not started, we will confirm if changes are possible and notify you of any impact on price or delivery. Once production starts, no changes can be made.
We may make minor changes to reflect regulatory requirements or technical improvements. If a significant change is required before production begins, we will notify you and you may cancel for a refund if you do not wish to proceed.
7.1 Delivery charges are shown on our website and confirmed at checkout.
7.2 Standard lead time is 12 weeks, however this may vary due to shipping, customs clearance, or other factors outside our control.
7.3 You are responsible for being at home to accept delivery. Missed deliveries may incur re-delivery charges.
7.4 Risk passes to you once goods are delivered. Ownership passes once payment has been received in full.
7.5 We are not responsible for delays caused by events outside our control (e.g. supply chain or shipping delays).
8.1 Made-to-measure products: All shutters are custom-made to your measurements and specifications. By law, they are exempt from the usual 14-day “cooling-off” cancellation rights (Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013).
8.2 You may cancel only if:
We agree before production begins, or
There is a fault with the goods supplied (see Section 11).
8.3 Faulty or damaged goods: Please email us within 24 hours of delivery with photos of any damage. We will arrange repair, replacement, or refund as appropriate.
9.1 Prices are shown in GBP. Shutters365 Ltd is not VAT registered, so VAT is not charged on your order.
9.2 We accept payment by Visa, Mastercard, Amex, and PayPal, securely processed by Stripe.
9.3 Full payment is required at the time of order before production begins.
We may cancel an order if you fail to pay, fail to provide correct information (e.g. measurements), or do not accept delivery after reasonable attempts.
11.1 All shutters supplied by Shutters365 Ltd include a 2-year warranty from the date of delivery.
11.2 The warranty covers:
Structural defects
Warping
Significant paint or stain discolouration
11.3 The warranty does not cover:
Normal wear and tear
Incorrect installation by you or third parties
Damage caused by misuse, accidents, or alterations
11.4 To make a warranty claim, you must notify us in writing with photos of the defect. We will repair, replace, or refund as appropriate.
11.5 If goods arrive faulty or damaged, you must notify us within 24 hours of delivery with photos of the damage.
11.6 This does not affect your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
12.1 We are not liable for losses caused by incorrect measurements supplied by you.
12.2 We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses (e.g. lost income).
12.3 If you are a consumer, we only supply goods for domestic use.
12.4 Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death, personal injury, or fraud.
We will only use your personal information as set out in our Privacy Policy.
These terms are governed by English law. You may bring legal proceedings in the English courts. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you may also bring proceedings in your local courts.
